Terms, refunds and privacy

Who you are dealing with

TTE Assistant is operated by Goings MedTech LLC, a single-member limited liability company registered in the United States. Billing appears on your statement as TTE ASSISTANT.

What the service is

TTE Assistant is a study aid for learning to read transthoracic echocardiograms. A subscription gives you the curriculum, the question bank and active-recall drills, the view-by-view acquisition workflow, and reference tables generated from the same data the application grades on.

It is not a medical device, has not been reviewed or cleared by any regulator, and is not intended for clinical use, diagnosis, or treatment decisions. Nothing it produces is medical advice. Clinical decisions remain the responsibility of the treating clinician. The full intended-use statement is in the Reference tab and behind the fine print on every screen.

Price, trial and billing

• $19.00 USD per month.
• A 7 day free trial starts when you create your account. No card is required for the trial, and nothing is charged unless you choose to subscribe afterwards.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.
• Payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• Prices are in US dollars. Any taxes that apply are shown at checkout.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from Billing in the app, which opens Stripe's billing portal. There is no cancellation fee and you do not have to contact us first.

When you cancel, your access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for. It does not stop immediately. Your progress is kept, so resubscribing later puts you back exactly where you left off.

Refunds

We do not refund part-used months. Cancelling always leaves you with the access you have already paid for, right up to the end of that period, so nothing you have paid for is lost by cancelling.

The 7 day trial exists so you can decide before paying anything at all. No card is taken to start it.

If something has genuinely gone wrong, such as being charged twice or losing access you had paid for, email dylan@goingsmedtech.com and we will put it right.

Your account and acceptable use

Sign-in is by emailed link. Keep access to your email account secure, since anyone who can read your email can sign in as you.

A subscription is for one person. Please do not share your account, and do not redistribute or resell the content.

We may end an account that is being used to redistribute the content or to abuse the service. If we do that outside your control, we refund the unused part of the period.

Privacy

What we store:

• Your email address, to sign you in and to attach your progress to you.
• Your progress: which lessons you have completed, your question-bank results, which questions you missed, and your light or dark theme preference.
• Subscription status, and the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers needed to manage billing.

What we do not store: card details, which stay with Stripe, and anything you paste into the application. Measurements you paste are processed in your browser and are never sent to us.

Do not paste identifiable patient data. Use de-identified numbers, teaching cases, or the worked examples built in. The service is a study tool and makes no claim to meet the handling requirements that identifiable clinical data carries.

Processors we rely on: Supabase (accounts and progress), Cloudflare (hosting), Stripe (payments), and Resend (sign-in emails). We do not sell your data, and there is no advertising or third-party analytics tracking on the site.

Want your account and data deleted? Email us and we will delete it, including your progress, within 30 days.

Availability and liability

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service is provided as is, without warranties.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Goings MedTech LLC's total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Because this is an educational tool and not a medical device, it must not be relied on for clinical decisions, and we accept no liability for any such reliance.

Changes

If these terms or the price change, we will email you before the change takes effect for you. A price change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
